Job Description & Requirements

The PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation Internship Alliance Program builds strong partnerships with leading companies to help secure internship opportunities for our talented young professionals and increase their visibility among recruiters in competitive applicant pools.


This program enables young Hellenes to be referred, recommended, or reserved for select internship opportunities within our trusted partner network, boosting visibility of their applications.


Eligibility:
To explore through the Internship Alliance, students must be a

  1. PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation Alumna or Alumnus

  2. PanHellenic Young Leader (for non-scholarship Alumni)

Kokolakis Internships: For students who want to pursue a Construction Career after graduation.


Dates: Summer 2026 May-August (exact dates TBD)

Full-Time On-Site: Monday - Friday (standard office hours)


Preferred Majors: Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Related Construction Degree


Paid Internship

The Project Engineer Intern will assist the project team with day-to-day tasks related to managing construction projects and assisting with special projects.


Primary Responsibilities

• Review, process submittals, shop drawings and maintain submittal log.

• Review and process RFIs and maintain RFI log.

• Complete all permit applications and Notice of Commencement.

• Schedule and coordinate work with public utility companies.

• Develop subcontractor riders and scope of work for review and approval by PM.

• Maintain buyout log.

• Ensure compliance with minority requirements and maintain minority log.

• Collect, review and assemble all closeout documentation, warranties, as built drawings, O&M manuals, etc.


Work with on-site project team to ensure the following:

Project quality control plan is in effect and followed.

• Safety plan is in effect and followed.

• Provide on-site project management when required.

• Project schedule adherence. Communicate concerns or deviations to PM when appropriate.

• Complete and distribute meeting minutes.

• Punch list is completed to the client’s satisfaction.

• Assist with collecting signed subcontracts and evidence of insurance prior to Subcontractors start of work.

• Minimize risk of second tier lien exposure by monitoring daily reports and communicating Subcontractor suppliers and Sub-Subcontractors to Contract Administrator.

• Maintain manpower log.

• Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

• Current university student in a degree-seeking program related to construction management or architectural engineering.

• A desire to pursue a career as a Project Manager, Superintendent or Estimator.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

• Ability to balance multiple tasks and priorities.
