Renée Stephanie Kleris
Bachelor of Science, Emory University

Graduating Cum Laude in her
Pace Academy H.S. (Atlanta, Ga.) Class of 2004, Renée is a
National Honors Society member, and a recipient of the
Scottish Rite Hospital’s HOPE Scholarship, the PACE Senior
Citizen Award, St. Basil Sportsmanship Award, Sunday
School Perfect Attendance, Hellenic Dance Festival and 1stPl. Speech awards. Her activities include volunteer work at a
local soup kitchen, choir, Treasurer of her parish G.O.Y.A.,
Maids of Athena, Varsity Tennis and Cheerleading squads.
The daughter of Dr. George and Metaxia Kleris, she attends
the College of Arts and Sciences at Emory University.

Samantha Ann Papadakis
International Relations, Harvard University

Ranked 31/381 in her Deerfield H.S. (Illinois) Class of 2004, this top-ranked U.S. springboard diver decided to pass on numerous athletic scholarship offers in order to fulfill her dream of attending Harvard’s Kennedy School Government. Daughter of George and Andrea Papadakis, she has achieved numerous distinctions including High Honors (4 yrs.), National Honor Society, Presidential Excellence Award, and Who’s Who in Sports. Her activities include volunteering at the 2002 and 2003 Special Olympics, tutoring, and as a diving instructor for local youth programs. Samantha Ann studied in Europe from 1996-99, and is pursuing her studies at Harvard, Majoring in International Relations, with a Minor in Foreign Languages.

Konstantine Papadopoulos
Biology, Miami University

Ranked 37/606 in the Class
of 2004 at Centerville H.S. (Ohio), he has combined his accomplished creative writing with Honors/AP Courses in
Algebra, Adv. Algebra/Trigonometry
and Chemistry, with an interest in science and medicine further evidenced by his participation in related seminars at the U. of Dayton and Wright State U. The son of Anthony and Nectaria
Papadopoulos, his community activities include serving as a
Teachers Aide, organizing materials at his Greek Orthodox
parish’s Greek School, and serving on the parish’s Annual
Greek Festival Committee. He is continuing his education at
Miami University at Oxford (Ohio).

Danae Konstantinos Roumis
Anthropology, University of Chicago

Ranked 6/279 in her Stoughton (Mass.) H.S. Class of 2004, she has proven herself as scholar, world-traveler, athlete and committed Hellene. A member of the National Honors Society and listed in Who’s Who Among American H.S. Students, she served as CoCaptain of the Stoughton H.S. Track & Field team and CoEditor of its newspaper, The Knight. Active in the Metropolis of Boston’s G.O.Y.A., serving as her parish chapter president from 2001-02, she was part of the team that helped build a home for a needy family in Tijuana, Mexico as part of its “Mission: Mexico” program, and serves as a counselor at the Metropolis Summer Camp and retreats. She is continuing her academic career at the University of Chicago.
