CIA & TOM SOULELES
Executive Producers of Echoes of the Past

Cia and Tom Souleles are the Executive Producers of Echoes of the Past, an award-winning film that masterfully portrays the Kalavryta Massacre of 1943. Tom’s father lived through the atrocities committed by the Nazis against the innocent people of Greece during World War II. His story inspired Cia and Tom to conduct in-depth research and ensure that the history of the Massacre is passed down to the next generation. Starring the late Max von Sydow, the film is one of the most expensive ever produced in Greece. It serves as both a magnificent tribute to the victims of this tragedy and a testament to their courage and faith.

With this film, Cia and Tom highlight the importance of studying our ancestors' struggles and the unspeakable hardships they endured. Through Echoes of the Past, our scholarship recipients and young adults can grasp the significance of this history, preserving its lessons for generations to come.
