Are you ready for an exciting paid internship with one of the world's leading truck manufacturers?

 

Our Employee Experience People & Culture/Human Resources Intern will work with the P&C organization with an emphasis on Employee Experience. You will be part of the the People & Culture team that works to improve Employee Experience.


Location: Leslie, Illinois


Responsibilities


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support communications and change tools to rollout of the survey results and action planning

  • Support initiatives and workshops associated with improving employee experience

  • Design and build dashboards and assist with analysis of experiential data


Minimum Requirements


  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree


Additional Requirements


  • Must be able to provide housing and transportation for the duration of the internship

  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status required – For certain positions (Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information)

  • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B or F-1 status)


Desired Skills


  • At least Sophomore standing for undergrad at the time of application

  • Able to work at least 12 weeks (starting the end of May or early June through August)

  • Previous applicable internships

  • Self-starter

  • High level of computer skills (Microsoft Applications and Internet)

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Ability to problem solve and work independently

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Ability to develop strong relationships across the P&C organization
