Research Intern

Summary:

The Research intern assists the members of the Investment team by providing reporting and analysis support and excellent project management skills.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assists the team with equities and fixed income research projects, as directed.

• Assists with building out reports to primarily (1) monitor market and macroeconomic movements/dynamics and (2) help further capture/understand risk exposures within funds and prospective holdings.

• Assists running and helping to increase efficiency of existing market monitoring and holdings reporting capabilities.

• Monitoring news flow for existing and prospective holdings.

• This role will also include ad-hoc research responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree or MBA program.

• Evidence of challenging curriculum and a minimum 3.0 GPA.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint with the ability to learn new programs quickly.

• Must be organized and have a high attention to detail.

• Good research skills with the ability to effectively compile and analyze data.

• Interest in the markets and the industry.

• Independent and original thinker.

• Strong level of integrity with an entrepreneurial spirit.
