Job Description & Requirements
Summary:
The Research intern assists the members of the Investment team by providing reporting and analysis support and excellent project management skills.
Primary Responsibilities
Assists the team with equities and fixed income research projects, as directed.
Assists with building out reports to primarily (1) monitor market and macroeconomic movements/dynamics and (2) help further capture/understand risk exposures within funds and prospective holdings.
Assists running and helping to increase efficiency of existing market monitoring and holdings reporting capabilities.
Monitoring news flow for existing and prospective holdings.
This role will also include ad-hoc research responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree or MBA program.
Evidence of challenging curriculum and a minimum 3.0 GPA.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint with the ability to learn new programs quickly.
Must be organized and have a high attention to detail.
Good research skills with the ability to effectively compile and analyze data.
Interest in the markets and the industry.
Independent and original thinker.
Strong level of integrity with an entrepreneurial spirit.
